Successful Coordination of Friendly Drone Operations in the Nation's Most Secure Airspace with the DedroneRapidResponse Counter-Drone Trailer.

The 49th Annual Marine Corps Marathon confronted the considerable task of safeguarding 30,000 runners within one of the nation’s most sensitive airspaces. This effort required coordinating operations across several Virginia agencies, including Arlington County Police Department, to manage the airspace effectively. The primary objective was to prevent any unauthorized drone activity and facilitate the seamless operation of security drones during the event.

Arlington County Police Department decided to use a DedroneRapidResponse counter-drone trailer, to detect both unauthorized and authorized drone activities. Powered by DedroneTracker.AI, law enforcement was able to monitor the real-time locations of 15 different drones (and their pilots) from various drone manufacturers.
